Audiologists - 6 Seats Audiologists run three busy clinics in the lower north island coordinating 4 Technicians between sites. They wanted a better solution than their existing paper based client booking system and in choosing SmartServer they are now able to quickly view and modify the booking entries for all staff across all sites from any PC on their network. In addition, mobile staff have been issued with I-mate JAM Smartphones configured to sync their daily calendars picking up the latest booking information and calendar changes throughout the day, in real time, regardless of location. Industry Association (not-for-profit) - 25 Seats Network Now's SmartServer was entered into a competitive bid for the rollout of a 25 seat network for IA in their Wellington and Auckland offices. The SmartServer solution successfully dislodged the incumbent firm due to its efficient, low cost and robust nature resulting in a highly effective, duel server solution serving their two offices. Manufacturing and Retailing - 40 Seats Network Now's SmartServer was engaged to replace an aging Windows NT 4.0 technology platform used by M&R, complemented by duel Terminal servers and an application server. The resulting infrastructure included a mix of PC and thin client technologies providing a scalable, contingent and state-of-the-art retail system which is now in operation in their three Wellington stores. |
